The Paraburdoo Junior Football Club were invited to play at half time in the West Coast Eagles v Carlton game on Saturday, August 12. The game took place at Domain Stadium in Perth. It was the first time that a junior AFL team from Tom Price or Paraburdoo had travelled to Perth to play in front of a big crowd.
The team at Water2water was asked if we would be willing to make a donation. As we have been supplying and servicing water filtration systems in the Pilbara region for the last 20 years, we saw this as a great opportunity to give back to the local community and support the children on this exciting venture.
Water2water donated a Water Softener which was won by a local resident at the football raffle night. Water softeners are used to remove hardness minerals like calcium carbonate, manganese and iron from the water. In return, we were able to have our company logo displayed on the football teams banner.
Water2water also donated some water bottles and stubby holders for the kids training sessions (and for their parents).
